Genio AI Descriptions & SEO ("the App") is built and operated by Pablo Manzanares. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Shopify app.

Information We Collect

When you install the App, we collect and store:

• Your Shopify store domain and access token (required for authentication)
• Your usage data: number of AI generations used in the current billing period
• Your active subscription plan (Free, Starter, or Pro)

We do not collect personal information about your customers.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your store and provide access to the App
• To read your product titles and images in order to generate AI content
• To track your usage against your plan limits
• To update product descriptions and SEO fields in your Shopify store when you publish content

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Product content is generated using Anthropic Claude API. Product titles and images are sent to Anthropic to generate descriptions, SEO tags, and social media copy.
• Supabase — We use Supabase to store session data and usage records securely.
• Vercel — The App is hosted on Vercel infrastructure.

Data Retention

We retain your store session and usage data for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, your session data is removed automatically via Shopify webhook.

Data Security

Access tokens are stored securely and are never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the App.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the App removes your session data automatically.
